Revision 8.5
On November 13th, CoCreate released to manufacture ME10 revision 8.5.
Below is some of the new functionality:- Read-in
capability of DXF 13/14. ME10 continues supporting the DXF write capability
based on the DXF 10 format.- Year 2000 compliance. ME10 revision 8.5 is
now Year 2000 compliant. This applies to HP-UX 10.20, Windows 3.1/95/NT
4.0 and IRIX 6.2. ME10 revision 8.5 uses the same password as revision
8.0. For Europe and USA shipments of the new revision will start on the
24th of November. Every customer with a valid support contract for product
updates will receive the ME10 8.5 shipment automatically. Shipments for
customers in the USA and Europe will start in the first half of December.
ME30
Recently, CoCreate Software announced that ME30 software was discontinued
on September 30, 1997. CoCreate will continue to support ME30 and associated
products for two more years, until September 30, 1999. CoCreate is offering
promotional pricing to assist our customers in their migration to the recommended
successor--SolidDesigner. All prices related to ME30 transition are good
only till December 31, 1997.

ME30 Transition to ME10
There is a method of transitioning to ME10 available to users who only
use the 2D functionality in ME30 and cannot take advantage of the newest
generation of Solid Modeling. This product has a price of $1,500.00. Call
for additional details.
Nodelocked License
Transition to Floating
There currently is a method available to eliminate the dual license
schemes used by long time HP MDD/ CoCreate customers. You can move to floating
licenses on all your Workstations for an 80% discount off the previous
price. The current promotional price is $200.00 per nodelocked Workstation.
There are many benefits of this single license scheme for networked users.
